Marriage licenses are issued and recorded in the County Clerk’s office.

• Issued Monday - Friday – 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Both parties must be 18 years or older and have one of the following:
  • State issued ID
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Original Birth Certificate
  • Passport, Visa (not expired)
  • Military ID
• The cost is $60.00 cash only (no checks or $100.00 bills please)
• Certified copies of Marriage Licenses are available for $5.00
• Ministers credentials must be recorded in the State of Arkansas

Marriage License Search

Jefferson County Residents now have the ability to search for marriage license records online which contain basic information such as name, marriage date, marriage official, and book and page number. This search feature is for informational purposes only and not considered an official document. Certified copies can be obtained by submitting a written request to P.O. Box 6317 Pine Bluff, AR 71611 or in person at the Jefferson County Clerk's Office. Certified copies are $5.00 per copy.
